What does ESG mean?
The terms
Environmental, Social
and
Governance
refer to the actions a company takes to address today’s environmental, social, and governance challenges. Assessing ESG impact means analyzing the company’s contribution to the environment and surrounding communities.
Our ESG Strategic Plan aims to accelerate the energy transition, putting sustainability first. Every action we take considers our main assets: people and skills. To implement the plan, we are adopting advanced tools, focusing on digitization, new technologies, and operational excellence.
Our core business drives us to evolve continuously, in line with changes in the economy, renewable energy, energy-saving technologies, and storage. We constantly evaluate the impact of our processes, products, and services on natural resources — air, water, soil, biodiversity — and on human health, monitoring their responsible and efficient use.
Social
We put people first by promoting a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment. We act in compliance with our Code of Ethics, investing in the physical and mental well-being and continuous training of our employees.
Our social commitment also extends to the community: we actively collaborate with universities, schools, institutions, and associations to generate shared value.
Governance
We adopt strong principles of corporate governance and behavior, clearly defining board composition, remuneration policies, ownership structure, and financial reporting systems.
We promote ethical and responsible practices, with special attention to tax transparency, anti-corruption, cybersecurity, and data protection.
